Andrea Pérez graduated as a veterinarian in 2023 from the Universidad de León in Spain. During her studies, she already had a clear focus on equine medicine. In 2024, she completed a general equine internship in Belgium at Equitom, where her interest further developed towards internal medicine, neonatology, and equine reproduction.
Her ambition to grow both professionally and internationally brought her to several countries, including Ireland and Sweden. In 2025, she was actively involved in the breeding season in Sweden. Working within different teams and systems has provided her with a broad practical foundation and taught her to work flexibly and purposefully within diverse reproductive programs.
In addition, Andrea has a strong interest in wildlife medicine. She temporarily joined the veterinary team of a zoo, a valuable period during which she further refined her clinical and diagnostic skills.
At Equiception, Andrea contributes her drive, passion for equine reproduction, and international experience to the team. Her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn align with the way we work: sharing knowledge, strengthening one another, and continuously developing within our field.
