Kelvin obtained his MBO Level 4 Veterinary Nursing diploma in 2023 in Zwolle. During his studies, he completed internships at several equine practices and clinics, including Equilife Equine Veterinarians, Paardenkliniek Emmeloord, and Sportpaardenkliniek Wolvega. It was during these internships that he developed a strong interest in equine reproduction, as well as surgery and emergency medicine.
From August 2023 until March 2024, Kelvin travelled to New Zealand, where he worked and gained further experience under the guidance of veterinarian Lee Morris. Upon returning to the Netherlands, he joined Equilife Equine Veterinarians.
Outside of work, Kelvin has a great passion for breeding show jumping, dressage, and Friesian horses. He closely follows developments within the breeding industry and enjoys making it a significant part of his life outside the clinic as well. With his enthusiasm, dedication, and eagerness to learn, Kelvin is a valued member of the Equiception team.

During this time, he developed a broad interest in veterinary medicine, with a clear focus on reproduction, as well as an interest in surgery and emergency care.
From August 2023 to March 2024, Kelvin spent time in New Zealand, where he worked and further developed his skills under the guidance of Dr. Lee Morris. This experience gave him valuable international exposure and helped strengthen his practical skills in equine veterinary medicine.
After returning to the Netherlands, Kelvin joined Equilife Paardenartsen, where he continued to build on his knowledge and experience.
At Equiception, Kelvin supports both the clinic and the laboratory and is involved in the day-to-day work surrounding equine reproduction. He also has a strong interest in the breeding of showjumping, dressage and Friesian horses — a passion he actively pursues outside of work.
