Kelvin graduated in 2023 with a degree in Paraveterinary Studies in Zwolle. During his training, he gained hands-on experience at several equine practices and clinics, including Equilife, Paardenkliniek Emmeloord and Sportpaardenkliniek Wolvega. During this time, he developed a broad interest in veterinary medicine, with a clear focus on reproduction, as well as an interest in surgery and emergency care.
From August 2023 to March 2024, Kelvin spent time in New Zealand, where he worked and further developed his skills under the guidance of Dr. Lee Morris. This experience gave him valuable international exposure and helped strengthen his practical skills in equine veterinary medicine.
After returning to the Netherlands, Kelvin joined Equilife Paardenartsen, where he continued to build on his knowledge and experience.
At Equiception, Kelvin supports both the clinic and the laboratory and is involved in the day-to-day work surrounding equine reproduction. He also has a strong interest in the breeding of showjumping, dressage and Friesian horses — a passion he actively pursues outside of work.
